Active Anti-Theft and Windows

RE: Active Anti-Theft and Windows
I'm a past tense BMW fan. I recall years ago when the "7" series came out with the electronic transmission. When phones were still wired into the car instead of cellular.
Fellow gets a phone installed. Installer wired into car. Fellow is driving up Hwy 280 in the vicinity of Palo Alto, California. Phone rang, and rang again! Fellow was having a hard time answering the phone, cause, every time it rang, the transmission locked up! [sm=icon_flaming.gif]

Both windows have the one touch on my '05 GT.
I also forgot to mention in my previous post an item that the AAT has. The key contains a microchip that prevents some one from starting the car without a key with the correct chip in it.

No cost, just time. As long as the car was ordered with availability, apparently part of the Active Anti Theft option.
