Default I need help on identifing this part(UPDATED w/ pics)

I went to the gym last night and when I got out of the gym my car was hit. It was a hit and run. I was wondering if anybody knows what this part is called. I will put up pictures of the actually accident tomorrow.

That is the front fender. If the hit is minor, you can probably have it repaired as the fender is made out of metal, otherwise you will need to replace the front fender.

If I buy this fender, will it be alright or do I actually need the same exact fender?

Basturds![:@] Looks like an excuse to upgrade your front end to either Cervini, GT 500, GTCS, or Roush! Also need body work or a new fender.[:'(]
