Default Car wont start...

I went to go start my car this morning and it wouldn't start.

it sounds exactly like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fvl_Q...eature=related (not my car)

what could be the problem?

dead battery imo. only enough power to turn the car on, not enough to turn the starter. a bit harsher than i remember imports doing it, but it makes sense.

My car wouldn't start after long periods of sitting in the garage(when I went to school). My father bought a battery tender to keep it alive. It is more than likely a batter problem.

there is a good answer on the Youtube page.
It's dying battery but that could be caused by a broken alternator that isn't properly charging the battery.

Has it been sitting undriven for a while or did
you just drive it yesterday and now its dead today?
If this is the case, it could be your alternator or
battery connections.
There is a steady current draw from the system
when the ol Stang is just sittin waiting to be driven. [:@]

I have heard that the battery will go dead on the 05 06 and maybe 07 Stangs due to something drawing power from the battery. My car was also a victim of this. I use a battery tender now. Has your car been sitting for 10 days or more?

Yeah I heard the shaker 1000 can do it? I dunno, but my '05 has never had a strange dead-battery, though it's stock one did start slowing down on startup so I replaced it.
