So if I want to program my Fusion key, I'll need to do it the same way as those directions state?

Do you need two FOBs to program a third? Or does that only work with the keys?

Because if you only need 1, I'm programming myself like 5 extras now before I go and lose my keys again.
the key fob is no problem to program, you could actually lost both key fobs and still buy 1and program it yourself.
ORLY?!?! TY TY TY

I bought it from the dealer where I work, retails for $85.00, it's a dealer installed keypad which you can install and program yourself.
I have the 7L2Z-14A626-BA with I believe is different than yours.
Anyway, handy gadget.
you got the lastest update, I have the original design which is alittle larger and doesn't come with the paintable cover, I've had it for a couple of years now, the one you have wasn't available yet.

I tried the fusion key on my 06 GT, I could program the key to start my car, but I couldn't program the key fob to unlock the car, I had a couple of our techs try and they determined that it would notwork on my car.

program it just like you would your key fob, attaches using double side tape, program it before you attach it to your car.

According to everyone I've talked to that is correct. It will only work on most 2007s and all 2008s. So something must of changed mid year on the 2007s. But regardless, I should just program it like your instructions say?
