I just got my JLT/Xcal2 from Breenspeed yesterday and when I opened the box I noticed that it did not come with the MAF screws.........I do not plan on putting it in until the weekend....because it is going to rain non stop until then....So can I just use the stock ones? I am going to call them today and see what they say but I wanted to ask the other experts first.

The stock screw (there is only one) works like a charm.

Two self tapping screws hold on the MAF.
Is the JLT CAI plastic?

Yea, does the C&L not have machine threads in it?
Using the self tappers wont screw up the threads?
I have only seen pics, but I thought it was an aluminum
housing with machine thread tapped holes for the MAF.

i have a JLT II also and the factory screws are NOT the same. Be careful not to strip the threads on housing!!!

This is whyI asked the question.
My C&L have amachine threads and the stock box is plastic with self-tappers.
Look at the new CAI and see if it has machine threads.
