Wouldn't a Aftermarket Radiator be better for cooling than a thermostat?

Don't waste your time. Supposedly it assists more when you're FI with detonation and such but in a non-fi application it's useless. I had one in my truck and it did run a bit cooler but that can go both ways. A factory designed cooling system keeps the engine ata preferred temp. for good combustion. Anything cooler can actually cause problems. Stick with your factory thermostat.

I left some factors out in my original post..

I'm having a non-cooled Vortech and a 2-core Fluidyne radiator going in within 2 weeks. Since all is apart, I thought about the thermostat.

Damn, Bill. I REALLY hope you're planning a stepped install with pics of that Vortech. I'm seriously thinking of going with a Vortech non-intercooled myself. And you'll be running cool with the Fluidyne. I wouldn't worry about the thermostat unless Vortech recommends it (or includes one with the kit).

The Taco will be taking it easy on this mod, I'm having my Mechanic friend install it for me. [8D]
He's on vacation now til Sunday, and will hopefully get it all installed and gauges hooked up by the 12th.

No low-temp thermostat included in the Vortech kit from Brenspeed.

Also got Canton tanks, due in today.

Few teaser pics..

Ah, it's a niiiiiccceeee! Looks like you've got it prepped pretty well for your "mechanic friend". He should be real happy to see it partly installed when he arrives. I know you can't wait for that thing to be installed, I know I can't wait for mine. I'm real tired of getting banged around on the streetby Subaru STi's and such. The Vortech should fix that problem...
