Just to add to this. I just had the frpp hot rod cams installed and they seem fine to me. Has a lopey idle at stop lights but runs just fine and very drive able.

If you want the hot rod sound without sacrificing drive ability then I'd get these. I gained 24rwhp on a mild tune.

i have 95 3.8 mustang. i'm looking for help with my car should i stay with this motor or up gred . i want more power and sound. was thinking maybe doing a 30. over and some head work. if i can get a around 350 hp would be happy.

We got the hot rods when we had our 06GT.
Reason I am posting here is to encourage those that get them to go ahead and get long tube headers with them. They help them breath SO much better. With the long tubes we got a gain of 40RWHP. It also adds to the sound. If you are going to upgrade your engine with something then make sure to give it all it needs to make the maximum power, and long tubes are what you need when adding cams in order to make them gain the best power for your stang.
