I am testing the waters on this top see if we should become a vendor. We sell carbon fiber hoods and we are able to make them on colors. I have attached some pics of the silver and blue hoods we have made for the SRT-4. These color match very well with the Mustang paint colors. We are going to make the mold for the 05 Mustang but we wanted to see if you guys would like them.

Sorry. I am sure you do good work, and I am sure it is a fine product, and I am sure that you will find a market for it. But personally, I don't care for the carbon fiber "look". They would look better painted. Just my opinion

i wouldnt buy one, the carbon fiber looks just isnt MY style for my muscle car.
would look good on many other cars though!

No I did not say it was, neither is a Dodge SRT-4. But that is fine. Carbon Fiber is a great way to lighten the car and give it some style.

We could make it in fiberglass for $65 less than the noraml price of black.

i think that you will find that most mustang owners arnt into the carbon fiber look but want to reduce weight. personally, i have considered carbon fiber and painting it to look stock but i found this to be cost prohibitive.

what are the weight savings for carbon fiber/fiber glass/stock aluminium hood?

Yup, weight reduction sure is great but I would prefer to leave that look to the import scene...I would never put one on my car.
