I think the biggest problem here is you took off the better looking GT spoiler for the subdued GT500 spoiler

go ahead and take your shots now, im ready!
Each person's opinion over looks is different. My stock spolier is just looks ok to me, not great, not bad. What really bothers me is that the pedestal type spolers are on every car imagineable. I passed an early 2000's Saturn SL1 yesterday, looked over, and there it was - my spoiler's runt twin brother!

The GT500 OEM spoiler is worth the money, fits right and when painted by a good body shop, looks great on the car, especially if you have the GT500 front end conversion. Like someone else said, the stock spoiler isn't bad, but everyone has one. My takeoff spoiler made a good shelf to hold some of my mini mustang collection.

can you post some nice pics of what the spoiler looks like and a top view so I can see what it looks like only using 2 holes? Im interested in buying the 100 spoiler but am skeptical about the quality and it only using 2 of the 4 holes. Why coudlnt they just replicate the oem one?

thanks

I'm having my GT500 spoiler installed now while my car is getting repaired at the body shop. Hope they don't run into the same problem![&:]

why are you guys only using two holes? Is it because you did't want to drill the extra two holes on the edges of the trunk lid? Mine is a perfect fit using two of the factory holes and then the extras that are drilled on the sides. I shoved a couple of the screws thru the holes and had my son help me start the screws into the spoiler before letting the tape come into contact with the trunk lid. That way there was no chance of the spoiler getting stuck in the wrong place. The tape is barely visible, however it's painted the same as the spoiler and it really can't seen.

My spoiler store purchase was a great deal, and I would get theirs again if I had another Stang to put it on.
