Guys! Guys! How could you all miss the extremely obvious! This car is screaming for 1968 Mustang Fastback.........Bullitt Green! It already has the '65-'68 lines. And the stock, gray painted aluminum mags look like a modern rendering of McQueen's '68 fastback. I think we all can agree that "Bullitt" was possibly THE classic car movie. I don't remember what the real name for this color is, but I'm sure one of you will come up with the name. Anyway, painting the '05 this color would be a great tribute to the movie and be a bitchin' car to have! Yay or nay?

The color you're thinking of is Highland Green.

Thanks, Perilous! Ide love to see a new GT with spoiler delete, painted Highland Green with a black interior. Not some half a** charcoal, but coal black. And it should only be available with a 5 speed stick and the stock painted mags. Last thing is, it should be offered as a coupe only. No convertibles. Could be refered to as the Bullitt Special. Hell Ide trade in my new GT in a heartbeat for one of those. Would anyone else?

For those interested in 2006MY

Here are the two new colors comming out for 2006:

G9= Vista Blue
T8=Tungsten Grey

-I am not sure if they will be adding any others or deleting any. I was under the impression that these were the only new colors.

There will also be the 18" rims but I do not know the order code for those.

On top of that you will have your choice of regular rear axle or limited slip rear axle.

The complete order guide comes out May 15, 2005

The Order Bank will open for orders on May 16, 2005

Job one will be August 3, 2005

=========
Colorado Red (new for '06)
Ebony (new for '06)
Lime Gold (new for '06)
==========

Colorado Red is NOT NEW!... for 06 or any other year!.. it is Torch Red... Ford just calls it another color so you THINK your getting something different.. However - you will notice the Paint Code will be D3...

Bright Red is Bright Red no matter what you call it!... Those guys at Ford are truly silly at times.

Can anyone tell me how the 2005 mustang handles in snow and ice? I have ordered a new GT and am worried about this.

Thanks..
If it's like any Mustang of any year.. Park it and ride the bus.

Anyone else notice that the Mineral Grey has a brownish tint to it?
Is that the mettalic bits in it?
I've seen several that look more brown than grey- both in the direct sunlight.
The Solar Blue also has a purplish tint to it, depending on the angle and the light.
I love how the sun changes the color. On a cloudy day it's Grey. Sunny day a Greyish Bronz. BTW have you seen the 05 Eleanor (conversion) in this color? OUTSTANDING.
