Default What's your favorite/least favorite exhaust set up?

I've been watching vids on youtube with mustang GT exhaust's...

I can honestly say, my least favorite's would have to be Flowmaster's... Just dont like the way they sound..

My favorite would be a toss up between SLP Loud Mouth's with O/R or FRPP with O/R
They sound beastly

Whats yours?

I also like the boomtubes pretty good too... The only problem is, Im going to most likely have to spend a crap load of money for a new, LOUDER sound system when I get my exhaust

My favorite "mufflers" (not getting into all the variations of headers, H-pipes, X-pipes, etc.)

#1 - Pypes Mid-Muffler
#2 - Boomtubes
#3 - Borla Stingers
#4 - Mac
#5 - Flowmasters A/T (Bought them before I realized they were going to be my #5 choice[:@])

Least favorite: Slp Loud Mouths (a little too crazy and raspy for my taste)

I like the clean sound of the Borlas, Macs, and Flomasters. Although I don'tcare forthe Flowmasters at higher rpms and if you do any mods from the axles forward, the Flowmasters sound like a$$ in my opinion. It's really more of a toss-up between the Pypes and Boomtubes. They sound more aggresive without beingtoo obnoxious.

Fav = Boomtubes, mid-muffler & corsa
Least fav = slps & stingers. Reasons why (slps have no defined tone to them there just loud. Where as the boomtubes are just as loud but have a defined tone) stingers just have to much drone with a o/r pipe.

Faves:
Mid Mufflers, Mac Longtubes and Off Road Prochamber
Stingers with Off Road Prochamber

Least Fave:
chambered mufflers with an off road pipe, they get to tinny sounding up top for me (mac, flowmaster)
slp's with off road pipe

But you guys aren't getting it. It sounds great at idle and little throttle, sure!!! At 2k rpm it changes tone and starts to "trumpet". high-pitched bad sound. Fortunately the MAC's stop about 3 secs later whereas the JBA's keep sounding like that. It's sound dynamics with the high-flow and muffler placement exhaust the 3V has. Total trade-off...

That's very simialr to what mine sounds like. Burly, nasty, deep, aggressive, not too raspy, no trumpet.
