For the price you can't go wrong with the Motorcraft filter.

I can tell you this...I bought my 2005 Mustang GT about three months ago. I just recently did an oil change in it about 1600 miles ago. I travel up to NW Arkansas about once a month or every other month to see my GF. The first two times I went up there in my Mustang I averaged around 20.7 to 21.0 miles per gallon on the road. The last trip up there was about 200 to 300 miles after an oil change using RP 5W-20 and a Mobile 1 Oil Filter. On my trip computer then I averaged 23.5 mpg. That was up and back I averaged the same. I always reset it when I leave home and when I leave her house so the driving around town don't mess up the numbers.
Now..this is my first go at synthetic oils and I read A LOT of stuff before going with it. Mobile 1 or the other full synthetics might give me the same MPG but I can say that I was truely amazed. I also have no proof, but my engine seems to be quieter and smoother running. But that might just be my imagination trying to help it justify the cost. Anyway...good luck on your decision! Jeff

RP does rock

and I'm glad they haven't brought up SL v SM argument (because its total BS)
they haven't metSM because SM oil can hurt cam shafts
