Take it back to them and tell them to get rid of it...

You dont want some $5 an hour washboy whos not trained
in sticker removal doing the job. Do it yourself so you can
control the method used.

What an idiotic remark. If this so called "$5 an hour washboy" messed something up, the dealship WILL fix it.

All done. Was able to just peel the decal off and used WD-40 to remove the glue that was left

Then you have a "FIXED" Stang by some underpaid stealership bodyshop
worker and the stealership is making zero from the repair. Yea they will
put 110% effort into THAT repair. NOT. You do the math and tell me how
it come out.
Idiot?
Who me?
Dont think so.

If It is Vinyl, use a hairdryer, to soften, try to lift a corner then get some lighter fluid under the edges and peel it off little by little. Don't use plastic scrapper use a piece of soft wood then clean the surface with some lighter fluid and the job is done

Took mine off before I left the dealership. Handed it to my salesman who was laughing with me.

One of my letters started peeling off when I was hand drying it.
So I just peeled the rest of them off. I still have letters stuck all over my garage floor.

Mine also came off before I left the dealer. Just peeled right off, no residue.

Yeah just do it yourself but I would say use a hair dryer. I have seen some bad things done by heat guns in the hands of the inexperienced.

Default how to remove decals from cars

if you are removing a decal from a car that is on a painted area, don’t use a metal razor blade as its easy to scratch the paint. Depending on the size of the job (i.e. small or large) I know of 2 products. There is a video demo at www.decalstickerremover.com. (one does big areas and the other small areas) Hope this helps. P.S if you need a cheap product that is chemical free to remove the goo or adhesive, try eucalyptus oil (its chemical free and available at most supermarkets).
