I have a black convertible 97 mustang now and I just put in my order for an 05. I'm told it's 8 - 10 weeks away from being here. I just went to the Dallas Auto show over the weekend and teased myself by staring at all the mustangs on the floor. Anyone in the same boat as me waiting for their mustang to get here?

I pissed a dealership off Friday night.... I've been waiting since March 1 on mine. I stopped at a Ford Dealership that had some Stangs on the lot and was getting my "FIX". The sales guy walked up and ask if he could help - so I was honest and simply told him that I had one on order and was just stopping by to get my fix. He ask if I had ordered from them and I told him no. He gave a harrrumph and walked away. LOL

It took me this long to order cause at first no one would come off the price. Now over there is room for getting some cash knocked off. I'm getting my GT 26k with every thing I want in it. Plus I'm going to trade my car in. I got this gt for 26 when everyone else was quoting between 28-32.

This one guy from from grand praire ford was stupid. I walked in the door cause I heard they had some Seleens. The guy approached me and started talking to me about the 05 mustangs. I told him I was just pricing them instead of getting me a price he got his finance officer and sales manager in the cube with me. When they came in I said this guy hasn't even quoted me and I'm not buying today. They didn't say a word they just left. Next day the sales guy called me and asked when we were going to draw up the paper work on the mustang. I said a few choice words and told him to never call me again

Some sales people are such nimrods. They just can't seem to do things the customers way. They insist on doing things their way and pisses people off more. On my second order, I took a copy of the build that I wanted from the Ford web site, gave it to the sales kid (he was young and in training I think) and was going through all the options instead of looking at the printout that I had. Then his boss (mentor) told him to just look at the printout and order it that way. Where do they educate these sales people?

Mine has been on order since 1/18/05. Dealer "claims" is it built now and I should get it within a week to 10 days. Dam... I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas!

Holy crap that's way longer than 8 - 10 weeks I hope mine doesn't take that long I'll scream!!!!
