I run the 275/40/17 555r as a drag radial and it's mediocre at best. At your power level they'd be less than useless.

I think they might be an okay street tire if you are big on stylin'.

For the strip 15" all the way. Either Boggies or Holeshots. If you need a cheaper wheel wait until the middle of next month and you should be able to get Greg Welds for $100-150 or so from Summit to fit an 2006.

I will have slicks for the track, I need a street tire to hold around 520 RWHP.

I wish I had that problem. It's definately more street biased and about as good as you can get for the money.

don't get a drag radial for the street. Get a street tire.
you can't control when or where there can be water on the road and I have a feeling you'll just end up another statistic by driving around on drag radials![:@]

there are radials that can hold that HP but on a 20 inch rim you are really trying to push it. I doubt the new 305/35/30 will do anything if the 305/35/18 have enough trouble already wouldn't want to imagine on 20's BTW I can't believe you still have that motorcraft battery after what I saw on ur picture lol

Good luck with that. I'll never use a drag radial for everyday driving again. Mine put me into a viscous slide that I couldn't correct. They hydroplane to easily. I don't think any 20 inch tires is going to grip with your power, drag radial or not.
