Default RE: Want to make the car ridiculous loud...

ORIGINAL: PiggySmallz

ORIGINAL: TOMBSTANG

I must be crazy.......since my video is full of BS with the set ups side by side and wich the stingers get blown away by every other set up there with a o/r pipe and even some with catted mid pipes. Theres no lies when the cars are side by side, it is what it is........

Im not sure who Tombstone is either.......but im sure he hates borlas too
haha at tombstone....what you are missing is the fact that high flow cats flow MUCH better than the stock cats. Yes the stock cats flow well, but high flow cats are packed just barely enough so they pass emissions. They are just about as loud if not as loud as an off road pipe. To compare borlas with a stock catted h pipe to pypes mid mufflers with off road x and slp's with an off road pipe is like comparing apples to oranges.
I had "hi-flow" cats and went to an o/r pipe.Big difference dude. Not in sound, per se, but in flow. I swear my powerband moved up with that change alone. Have you actually gone from a catted setup to an o/r setup???? I gained about 6rwhp/tq with a change from MAC axle backs to Pypes MM and another 7rwhp/tq from hi-flow catted pipe to off road pipe. I'll post up some dyno's to prove it if you need me to.
