I am getting ready to buy new rims for my car. I was wondering what did everyone that bought new rims do, didyou guys sell your old ones or did you keep them.

i sold mine, but wish i kept em. if you live in a area where the roads get salted keep em. your going to be buying new rims every time spring comes around.

Get you some 20's and keep the stockers for the track

I'm keeping the stockers for winter rims. Keeps the summer rims nice and saves the cost/time of mounting winter tires in the fall and switching to summers in the spring.

lol no you dont. im about 2 get my second set of aftermarket rims. and a buddy of mine might sell me his 08 fanblades to....

i'm trying to sell them, so i can get some new ones. i'm trying to beat blueherd's record of 3 sets, every 6-12 months change rims.

I craigslisted mine, sold for $350. Told the new owner to send me the pressure sensors when he changes his tires. Will never happen...oh well.

i can't help you with your question about rims, but for shoes (sneakers), yeah, i've sold quite a few on ebay and issforums[8D]

Ask yourself 3 questions
1. Do you live in an area where it is a must for a winter specific tire?
2. Will you ever want to buy a track tire(drag radial)?
3. Will you sell/trade your car to a dealer when you want to get rid of it?

If you answer yes to any of those questions, then it will be better for your pockets to keep the stock wheels.
