Default What's up with the stock wheel/tire combo?

How come the '05 only has a 235/45/17 tire on an 8 inch wheel...anyone know? GT's have had at least a 245 option with cobras having a larger wheel/tire combo. I like the '05's but I think the stock wheel/tire combo is wimpy. Am I missing something?

you can put a 255 on the stock for the front
and if u get a 10 inch rim you can put a 295 on the back

now that should do the trick for yaaaaaaaaaa

enjoyyyyyyy

Yeah I guess. Maybe they figure a good majority or people are going to change them anyway. I think it would look awesome with at least 255/40's all around with 9 inch rims.

It's to save money. The rim look like they came off a SUV.

I put on 245/35/18 all around.

Ford was trying to keep the bottom line down, that way the regular people could afford the mustang.
wcracer, who did you have do the stripes on you're car? I love the boss 302 stripe on it!
What wheels are those? Nice all buisness look! Is there something ghosted on the hood stripe?
