^^^In your opinion, how do you think they'd look on a black car? They look great on yours.

Thanks. Honestly, if it was me, on a black car, I would go with the polished finish. Not that the black pins would look bad, but the finish on the hood pin caps is far enough off from the black paint I'm afraid, for it to just look a bit off. Even being separated from my stipe a bit, I can see the difference in finish....JMO......I have never seen a good pic of a black Pony with the black pins....

Which of the Shelby pins would look better on Torch Red, black or polished? I'm leaning towards the black.

Mike - yours looks great! Did you use the brackets that came with the kit?

Thanks, and yes, I used the supplied brackets. I agree with you, the black pins would look great on Torch Red.....It appears you are already doing black accents...(rear blackout)....

How hard was it to cut out the location for the brackets? I recall you did a write-up on your install, haven't located it yet.

To be honest, I cheated....I printed out the template for the cut outs, popped the cover off, and took em both to work. One of the maint. guys cut it out for me.....did a great job. Amazing what you can get done for a dozen donuts....
