I Need to Quiet Down My Exhaust Need Opinions
I have longtube headers, a X-pipe with cats and SLP loudmouths. This car is loud the link is a video if you want to hear it. I need advice on how to quiet it down but not completely. It sounds good at idle and normal acceleration but at WOT it is obnoxious. In the next week I am going to put on new axle backs I was leaning towards corsa brand, but I was also thinking of putting a mid muffler on, maybe a flowmaster 44 series or something from magnaflow. Any suggestions?

OMG, wow... lol The wife sounds like she digs it "Go again!"
Anyway, that is loud, but I think a mid pipe would help a lot. I had a similar problem about a year ago, a different car, I put a Kooks mid pipe in and it helped a lot. I did Db testing and everything, with that car I was able to bring it down about 7 Db's across the board. WOT to idle. You can buy a Db meter at Radio Shack for $40 or if you live close by me, you are welcome to borrow mine. I live in Ohio, 30 minutes south of Cleveland.

anything other them loudmouths will do you better. you have an x, so id stick with a Borla, Corsa, Magnaflow... i wouldnt put a midmuffler on AND an axelback.
