Default Bullit chrome or polished?

I have a Satin Silver GT I am 99% sure that I am going to stick with the stock size 17X8 wheel. I found a chrome Bullit and Polished Bullit which do you think will look better?

I'm going with the chrome Bullits on my Sonic Blue.

Guys,

CrossRoadzDirect.com has different sizes of Black, Grey and Chrome Bullit Wheels...

I purchased the 18X9 w/36 Offset and mounted Falken FK451 in 255/45/18ZRs...

I went with the wheel and tire combination because the overall diameter measurement is almost the same as the stock 235/55/17 wheel/tire combo...

The Bullits and tires were 27.04" and the stock measured 27.14", so there is no need to calibrate the speedo...

Also, NO TORQUE IS LOST DUE TO A LARGER DIAMETER TIRE... (VERY IMPORTANT)

I heard that 19" or 20" wheel/tire combos need to go flat to 40,35 or even 30 profile...

You definately lose ride quality!!!

Talk to Matt at CrossRoadzDirect and he will hook you up...

Wheels were $209.05 each and I bought the tires from Discount ires Direct for about $174.00 each...

All over the internet.. (Ha-Ha)

I have rear end pics which show the clearance of the combination but still need lowering springs to complete the look...

Boy, do I get looks, whistles and applause when I'm in town...

Chicago, as you know has many many hot cars, so I have to compete with Jags, Vettes, Vipers, etc...

See my Pics...

Discofan, I like the wheels and tires but the space above the rear wheels looks the same as what I have there now, that space bugs me and according to the other post Eibach springs, an adjustable panhard bar, plus the cost of the tires and rims comes to about $2000.

Dear Jagbits:

Go to CrossRoadzDirect.com web site...

Click on 2005 Mustang on the left side of the page...

On the next screen, at the bottom of the page are the "New Products"

You will see the Bullit Wheels (18X9) w/36 offset shown there...

Click on the decsription and the page which shows that wheel will appear...

This dealer sells both the Chrome 18X9" and the 18X10" (deep dish style)...

The wheels with shipping went for about $969.00 and the tires were roughly $700.00...

These wheels have a heavy chrome plating surface and are very easy to keep clean...

Mounting/balancing at a local tire service shop in my area was $52.00 per set of 4...

Also, clck on the "gallery" on the CrossRoadzDirect web site and see my Mustang and others with various wheel/tire combinations...

The Eibach Lowering Spring Kit will lower your car about 1.3-1.4"...

I do not have these springs installed yet on my car but I will order them shortly...

As far as the Panhard brace, I was told that it is not necessary because the drop of 1.3-1.4" is not that much... Better contact other Mustang owners to see if they have purchased this item...

Best of Luck and send pictures back when you get it set up...
