Default 4.10s effect on ETs?

For those of you that went to the track before and after 4.10's, how much difference did they make? Thanks.

It's for an automatic transmission first of all.

I thought it was about 5/10 tenths of a second quicker.

.2-.4 sec quicker in the 1/4 mile from what I have read and thats with a good driver that knows how to drag race! An automatic will be more consistent but a manual tranny can do it as well!

my best time with my stock 3.31's were somewhere around 13.5-13.6

after the 4.10's, i was runing consistent 13.2.

The biggest difference was the "seat o' pants" dyno... man this thing is so much more fun to drive, especially in the city

I went from 3.55 to 4.10. I only got about 2 tenths quicker but that was because of a huge traction problem. I think the difference could be as much as 5 tenths if I could get traction. Still using the stock Pirellis and traction in 1st and 2nd is just about hopeless. Next mod = wider rims and better tires.
The car feels MUCH stronger and with the tall O.D. ratio of the manual trans it's still good on the highway. Very worthwhile mod.
