Default dual friction plate

i am in the process of swapping out my steel fly wheel for an alum one i just got from fidanza. and i was wondering if any one had heard of any new clutch plates out there preferable a dual friction one kind of like the ones that centerforce use to offer for 5.0 and the 4.6's from 99 to 04. dose any one know if you might be able to use these parts on an 05 gt?

i love answering my own questions... baaahhhh! i talked to Roger Warner from centerforce he said that he didn't know for sure but he thinks ford has changed the oem part # from 2004 to 2005 for the clutchplate and the only way to find out is to contact a ford tech rep. i don't know any and will be hard to track one down over here in england. but that if they did infact change the part to a 2 piece clutch plate (wich he is pretty sure they did) that centerforce would make a dual friction clutch plate for the 2005 because the demand is there (your dam right) but it wouldn't be till next years catalog before we could expect to see it. if any one else knows of a diffrent company that offers DFCP for the 2005 GT please drop me a line on here or shoot me an email! time to go finish off the job... /rolls up sleaves

ok now i am going to hijack my own post by asking a diffrent question because i am to lazy to start a new post :P. i want to know the diffrence between Eaton 8.8 Posi units 28 or 31 spline and Auburn Posi Units 8.8 Ford 28 & 31 spline. wich one is better worse(and i am not talking about the spline) or if there is a diffrence at all. or if one of these are better then the other Detroit Locker Strange Torq-Line Posi Unit ? if any one is an expert on posi units and can tell me wich one would be better to get over the other one that would be grrrrrrate
