Many of us have ordered their cars early in the ball game and still don't have anymore information than when we placed our orders. Many have placed their order and recieved their cars in a couple of months.

What level of frstration are you at?

Don't have a frustration level. Things start getting stressful, I just take the GT out and bang the hell out of it for an evening....makes everything better

Extremely frustrated, I cancelled my order and bought a 400hp GTO. I waited 5 months without so much as a status or build date. Sorry Ford, try ya again in a few years....maybe.

All I know is that when I went looking for an 05 Mustang, the dealer kept telling me that if I wanted to order a car it would take about a year before I would get the car in, and that if I tried waiting around looking for the right car to just show up on the lot it would take longer.

Well, it was only a week after that conversation and the car I now own was on the lot and I snatched it up. There was only one item missing from the car that I would have liked to have but hey it was close enough.

So the only advice I can give is if you are waiting for an order, maybe consider stalking the dealerships in your state via the web. I checked the dealer locator using zip codes from around Texas until I found what I wanted then called right away to reserve it. Luckly it was in my city.

But if you have to have it exactly as you wish it to be, then waiting is the key.
