That's the way to go dude. Anything elseyou do will make you hurt every time you drive next to a 2005 GT. Take it from me. The only thing that makes me feel better is that I'm most likely be getting the 07 Shelby Cobra GT-500. Lets Se what happens. Good luck.

The "dilemma" is that he wants a GT but none are available. So he was wanting input on making a choice between a Truck or a V6.








Honestly, I would buy a new truck over a V6 if I had to make the purchase immediately. If I were afforded the luxury of time, I would wait until 06 and get in line for a GT.

There will be plenty by the time he gets out in 6 months. I agree the supply -vs- demand is an issue right now. My plan, is to sell my redfire 05 GT 5 spd. stick, premeum coupe during the next month while prices are high. I have enjoyed the car for 5700 miles, and don't think it will be a problem to get an 06 next winter. If I do, I will get the color I want, instead of taking anything I can get.
