Default CDC Shaker Hood System

I have a Shaker Hood system, I have had it for about two years now, how do I get to the air filter to clean it?

it's in the same spot as the stock air filter. assuming you don't have a CAI, just take apart your stock box like normal. if you have a CAI, it should be even easier. it's the big cone filter starring at ya

Does anyone make a tower brace that will work with this shaker system?

I know where the scoop is and how it works; I was wanting to know if there was a special tower brace that was built around the scoop some how.

Strut tower braces are useless on a street S197. Save your money.
It's only for looks, so something that would go around the scoop will only look like cr@p IMO.

This shaker intrigues me. Does it have it's own filter or something?
