How come this car does not have the remaining warranty from the manufacture? dennis in indianapolis
I purchased this saleen off of ebay last august from Jadta corporation, in Scranton, PA. I was told by Artie Brooks of Jadta corp. that this car was stolen from a ford dealer in new Jersey before it was ever sold. The dealer's insurance company paid the dealer off. The car was recovered 2 mos. later at the home of one of the dealer's employees. The car at at that time belonged to the insurance company and not the dealership. Ford motor co. voided the warrenty and sold the car at auction. There was no damage on the car when I purchased it and it had aproximately 1900 miles on it. I picked the car up in PA. and drove it back to MO. with no problems. If you run a carfax it will show the car was stolen but no damage. The car does not now and never had a salvage title. Please let me know any other questions.
