a Super Snake. But I realized something yesterday. I would take a black 2008 corvette Z06 with chrome wheels on it over ANY mustang, even the ford GT. I took my car to a Chevy dealer yesterday, and the looks of both cars are not even comparable. The Vette wins hands down.

I would say a GT500KR merely because the SuperSnake is a GT500 that you have to send off to Shelby to have the package installed so the supersnake is no longer an unmodified production car. When you get into the value of classics, it is usually the untouched ones that are worth more. The KR is a factory car that can be bought off the showroom floor direct from ford. just my .02

None. Drive them. If you want an investment, put your money in a CD, money market account, stocks or bonds.

There are so many speculators buying GT500's, KR's & Supersnakes to hide away thet they will never be worth more than the MSRP+ prices they garnered when new.

Although i agree with buying a car for investment only purposes is not a good idea...the KR being only 1000 produced means that it is quite rare and will be worth some dough in the future. It would be the most collectable of the s197 platform to this date. There might be less SS actual made but that would just come down to the choice of the buyers as pointed out, its not like that off the showroom floor per say.

It's a beautiful Mustang; drive it, enjoy it, modify it, race it or do whatever keeps a smile on your face. They are a great investment in FUN and PLEASURE, that's what matters. If you want to invest for future $$ returns, put your $$ in a CD, it's safe and guarantees a return. There isn't any current production car that will do that..........none.

1000 KR's made for 08 and for 09 1,571 are being made. Certainly limited numbers. I like factory made cars better for sure. Worth the money? Dont know

Cd's, investments are nice, but you cant go in your garage and lookat em.
