Default Long Long Wait

New GT is finally in. Ordered 1/21/05 from very reputable dealer. Came in 5/3 and will pick up 5/7. Dealer is 150 miles from home, but sold me the car under MSRP, and our family had dealings with them from back in the 60's.
It's a deluxe model, Performance white with Parchment cloth interior, 5 spd. Looking forward to the drive home.

STDANG....

Congratulations!!!

I am SURE you will enjoy EVERY second of driving the car home.

I ordered my car from a dealer 150 miles away as well. I've actually had dreams of the drive home!

Just don't let the wife / girlfriend drive it... you will never get it back! [sm=grin.gif]

Thanks Prof. I like that Torino in the picture. My Dad had one, but not modified like that. Yeah, the drive home will be a very enjoyable one, for sure. Have some things to do when I get it back to my garage, 18" chrome Bullits, sequential blinkers, etc. Can't believe it's finally here. I was giving up hope.

Congrats! You will love it!

But, how the hell can you wait until 5/7 to pick it up? I couldn't wait four days... I would be there in 2 hours! Plus, I would be afraid some commission-grubbing salesman would sell it before I got there.

I have about 475 miles on my car now, and my wife has driven about 3 of those miles. She knows whose car it is!
