Default IDIOT ALERT!

I'm the idiot I'll, start off with that. I replaced a radiator hose that was getting a little thin in one spot from rubbing on some piping from my procharger, so I go to tighten the petcock so I can put the coolant back in and I end up snapping the darn thing right off!!! I wasn't paying attention and just way over tightened it, I've never done this before. My question is does the petcock unscrew all the way out, or is there a way to get it completely out or do I need a new radiator?

I'm actually quite surprised they still put a pet-**** on the rads. I haven't looked at mine but, all the same, that's pretty nice of Ford.
Anyway, was it just the "handle" that you twisted off? That's quite common. You shouldn't need a new rad regardless. I will have to look at mine and see what is involved. If it is like days gone by, it should be threaded into the rad. A 1/2 inch line wrench will prolly take it out.

Not sure on our radiators, or how yours broke.
Heck I didnt know it had one until after I had removed my lower hose to drain the radiator, lol.
