3M won't work.

I saved some pictures of the GT500 modded for our cars but can't seem to find them on my computer anymore....

those pics are perfect! so it looks like you cut out the sides last two pics but left the middle part? On my saleen it looks likeI will need to do the same since there is also a higher part in the middle like in the pic below. That first pic is good I can see how the holes will mount up to the bumper. I will have to check where they are on my bumper. Great pics thanks

I wish I could take credit. But I stole the pics from a for sale thread...

But so that there is no confusion, the actual holes you will use I highlighted in GREEN the other holes I highlighted in RED.

The RED highlighted holes will be seen still and won't be covered. So you'll have to buy some platic push body pins in them to cover them up...

Xeno, I see what you mean. Did you add any bolts to the side sections? It looks like it kind of bends upwards in one area.
I did bolt the splitter all the way across the bumper, but I cut out the parts where it looked like it would droop/bend, and it ended up looking the same way. I wish I could fix the middle section because it tends to scrape the ground when I go overcurbs/driveways/etc. The only other fix I can think of is cutting more away, but then I would be afraid of losing strength in the splitter the only difference I can think why mine is bowing it where I bolted it to the bumper; i did mine in between the red and green section of boozshey's pic

OK I cut some off the center section. Just to make it level with the back of the center section. It took alot of the gap out of the sides then I screwed the sides up to the bumper and took the gap out completly. It's nice and flat no droop. It is a good cheap mod that realy makes the front end look better.

I'm the one with the for sale ad. When I mounted it I did not want to drill any added holes into the car bumper itself. It was only mounted with 3 of the fenderwell screws on each end. In the middle if you look under the front bumper you will notice 4 silver screws with washers. I used these holes which line up with holes already molded into the splitterplus I made round plastic spacers to place between the bumper and splitter to make it sit even across. My splitter is still for sale but I'm hoping to sell it to someone close to Connecticut who can pick it up because the shipping cost is almost 3 times whatI'm asking for it which is $45.
