When I put my LTs and O/R pipe on, I had SLPs. I got rid of them because they trumpeted like crazy. I replaced them with Boomtubes and they sound great. They don't drone at all.

I agree on this one. They sound ok and flow well but no bass at all. Sounds like the car was castrated when you go back to stock.

The factory mufflers have a good tone under a load, but as rpms rise, they become silent and just deaden all the sweet sounds of the V8.
