I have done a lot of appearance mods to my stang and something I have had to deal with recently is somebody who lives not that far away from me (like I have to see the car everyday) basically does the same things I do to my car, to theirs, right after I do it to mine.

Anybody else ever experienced this?

It used to bother me really bad but then I realized I should be laughing about becauseit is just somebody wanting to be just like me lol.

The only aggravating part about it is people calling me all the time "hey are you over here by such and such?" or "did you just go by...?" That gets annoying. The car does not even look exactly the same, people just see the same color and the obvious mods and think it is the same.

Well my only probelm with that is this: i have semi gloss black painted on my hood just last year (like the '69 car) and I have the CS front bumper..b/c it is a GT/CS. Plus i have a new upper and lower billet grille...i really do not want to change all that, which i just did, i have only had the car a year.

Those are very good suggesions though and ones that i had thought about. I just have gotten to the point where i am just trying to deal with it because i do not want to change all that i already did. i got him on one end though...that Bassani x i just installed plus the hood pins appearance and healdight covers, 281 hood scoop emblems. That has changed some people's opinion about the looking similar.

The hood pins really brought out the black in the hood because it is really hard to see one vista blue but i think it is beautiful. I am pretty much done with all my appearance stuff now though...i will post some pics eventually..

caliper paint
side and rear louvers

lol I used to have a 95 GT that I put a double stack wing on it...that was DEFINITELY different and attracted a ton of attention!

why! thats HUGE ur crazy, damn foo it was a joke. there is a silver 05+ v6 that drives around here in sugarland with a ricer wing on it, its aluminum and black and its HUGE!! i see him alot

Yea too many unoriginal people seems like[:'(]No one around even tries to copy my carmainly for the fact that mines probably the nicest one in the little city I live in. Tell he/she to please hop off your sack and at least try to come up with an idea of their own...
