Painting my CDC classic...
Alright so i ordered the matte black classic to match my matte black stripes... now im thinking of painting the sides of the classic up until the middle of the spoiler... kinda the cali special spoiler look.. say i wanted to get that paid... what are some prices you guys think would be in the ball park.. say i get a bodyshop to do it... maybe the Ford place where i got the car...

i would guess many times the dealer where you got the car would charge more to paint something than a normal body shop would. the good thing about having the dealer paint it though, you have a better chance of getting a true color match. I would guess around 150-200 for a body shop and 200-300 for a dealer; just a wild guess though. just dontgo to maaco [:'(]. i had a hood scoop painted at a bodyshop afew years ago and it cost around 120 to have it done and they did an excellent job. I would go with a private body shop. Most dealership body shop employees punch a clock and get paid by the hour. That means it could take forever to get your car back. A lot of private shops get paid by the job and tend to be a little more hungry for your money.
