I'm tired of not shifting already. When I was in the NYC area with lots of traffic I loved my auto but now that I'm out here in AZ I wish I had a manual every time I get in the car.

You could also try a short shifter and/or a 1 piece drive shaft...

The average driver doesn't even know how to match rpms to downshift... yet alone heel-toe-ing and powershifting....

yes it is ok to jerk a little but excess jerk is bad and to get really smooth all the time usually means excessive clutch wear... so my 2cents a little jerk is ok
I think he means for city driving. Shifting at low rpms and the car jerks...

Ok I just went to the Ford dealer to test drive an auto...man was that car slow, with no power. I know it didn't have an intake and tune like my car, but it was boring to drive, and just didn't have that punch that my manual has. So now for sure I'm keeping it. I went to Brandon Ford. They had the #3 Shelby GT KR price $120k. They get some nice cars there since they are the largest Ford sales dealer in Florida.
