thx for the compliments....

i didnt have any trouble at all installing them...

im **** about certain things and ill tell you it took me about 2.5 - 3 hours to get them back in...in now way is that the actual install time but in my situation, i had no universal socket and some of those screws are really tough to access and manage without one...i also took my sweet ole time to make sure i did everything correctly...

since i had no help, i used masking tape to pull all the wiring and harnesses away from the area i needed to slide the valve covers into in order to reinstall them without space complications and it worked out great...no chips or scratches caused by installation however i did receive a pretty bad sunburn on my back lol.....

one more mod down, but another will soon take its place lol

That looks sweet. The entire engine bay looks great. Just out of curiosity, about how much does the valve cover weigh?

Does anyone know where to get a set of factory take off covers to reduce the down time of the car. My buddy custom paints choppers and i want to give him a crack at a set of valve covers. Also does anyone know how to smooth out the radiator cover for paint? I don't want to spend the money fot the Midwest auto gear one since they do away with the prop rod clip. Course i suppose i could always get some quick lifts huh.

id say the best place to get them would be here or ebay, but u dont see too many around....

you sand the radiator cover down before painting it...

id say each cover weighs around 2-3 lbs since they are cast aluminum...

Mike...that looks freaking awesome..seriously....the whole look under your hood is sharp as heck....way to go....you will never stop modding...I want to say this though.I have seen where some people have over modded (if there is such a thing) but you and alot of others on here keep within your vision and make the cars even nicer...AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Can't see the pics from work. But I must say, that you now hold the record for the longest valve cover install. 3 hours is what it takes to do two sets...

Can't wait to see the pics though.
