Default Black or Mineral Grey

I just ordered an Black GT, but I am now considering switching to mineral gray. What do you guys think? Black or mineral grey. Also, what color are the inside of the bullit rims? That is, are they they same color as the mineral gray paint or are they more of a silverish color?

I say keep the black. The mineral gray looks brown while it is out in the sun.

Mineral Gray unless you don't mind flaws showing in your black paint such as paint chips and whatever else.

Go for the mineral grey!!! Looks better with stripes and easier to maintain - when I had a black car it was impossible to keep clean!!! See below for picture of mine...

Depends on how often you want wash/ wax it. Black is very high maintenance, I like any color except black and green, I like the looks of black, I just hate the work.

I have the Black & its hands down the best looking, sharpest, classiest color in my opinion AS LONG AS ITS CLEAN!!

Its a total bitch & Im almost wishing I had sonic blue (my 2nd choice)
But when its clean as can be, NOTHING beats it to me,...

Im not a fan of the mineral grey at all. Ford should have kept the dark shadow grey from the 03 & 04 models. That is a HOT grey & I probably would have bought it if it was available,...

I may be biased, but I'd say go with the Mineral Grey

Go with the sonic blue. I have a 02 mineral gray V6 and it sill looks good and definately easier to keep clean. The black is a nice color and looks great when it is clean especially with the bullit wheels but that is too much black on the car for my taste. Now on the other hand, the sonic blue beats that hands down. I had my doubts about the sonic blue but once I got, I am glad I did. Just ask don_w and STLPonyRider.

Black is high maintenance like the others have said. But the payoff is a big one in my opinion, a clean, perfect Mustang in black is really a sight to behold. They look really dramatic in black. But I would not own one in black unless you can garage it, and it can be protected from the door-swinging parking lot idiots because any little ding shows up huge on a black car.

Owning a black Mustang is kind of a lifestyle thing. I have to clean the windshield every day, wipe down the front end every other day, give it a full wash once a week with a quickie wash in between to knock the dust off. But hey, I enjoy doing it! It's really about how much quality time you want to spend keeping your stang spiffy
