Can't go wrong with JDM!!! I was just there on the 8th, great shop and great staff! Jim Sr. did a dyno tune on my car with the SCT2 XCal Its great!!!

Your original question: I ran the Steeda elbow (the plastic one) from Nov '07 until last month. The only thing I didn't like was when I took it apart, I noticed it started to etch a groove into my radiator hose thet sits beneath it, and it also started rubbing my PS fluid reservoir, putting a flat spot on the plastic! And its really not adjustable, its pretty rigid, even when you set it up before tightening the hose clamps. (I'm also running the FRPP CAI) So when I went to JDM, I bought the Saleen one, I like it much better, it looks like the stock tube on steroids!

And my results: I'm auto trans, my only mods are 3.73's, Steeda UDP's, and the FRPP CAI & Steeda tube, and Jim got me to 301HP, 316 Torque!! I don't know what the car was putting out stock, esp. an auto, but I'm sure it wasn't the same!!!

I am unsure about using the steeda elbow with the stock air box. Sorry can't help you there.

I had my first carbon fiber inlet tube from steeda actually crack from heat. Steeda sent me another one and havn't had any problems since. You can see the carbon fiber in the first picture I had to hack up the heat shield to get it to fit then I had to move the power steering under the inlet tube for the GT500 throttle body but looks and runs awesome. The second shot is when I had the extreme inlet tube. The carbon fiber also never feels hot just warm.

My Steeda elbow also rubs against the coolant hose, I cannot adjust it to avoid this.
