that is sweet1 the question is though is the whistler as reliable as say valentine or 9500i?

Great install, I am also thinking of hiding my STI and this gave me a lot of ideas. Just have a few questions:

Why didn't you purchase a Beltronics STI-R, which would be allot easier to install, and should have bigger coverage?

I also think that the disadvantage of this install, is that it will not catch rear radars anymore (as beltronics states 360degree detection)

can you also mute, and change the volume somehow?
