Default AUX Input

I'v searched this and got crappy results..

I can't get no solid sound out of the input.. I have a aux cord from the a Sony system.. I used it between my mp3 player in into the input. I hit aux and it sound like the are whispering.. What would cause this?? I'v switched ends, still the same thing.. What do i try next??

Try a different cord, make sure the volume is up on the iPod.

Just make sure both ends of the cable are completely seated. If thats no help I would replace the cable.

If its through the 3.5mm plug then you must have it turned all the way up since it is not powered
