ZEX Nitrus coming in the mail! need hlep!
I just got done watching a S W E E T performance by the Blue Angles and other aerobatic aircraft during the San Francisco fleet week.
Some pics here
In an effort to make my GT more Aircraft like, I've added the following:
So anyone have any Nitrus installation tips?
Or even use tips?
According to the directions, it gives you the shot once you floor it. Is there a kick? Am i going to completely loos control of the car when that happens?
I must admit, I'm very excited and a little intimidated by the install and a little scared about the sudden kick in HP.

- Remove before flight tags, hang off of my hood pins when not in use (car-shows and garage only)
- US Flags on the sides beneath the GT logo
- Zex Nitrus Kit with +175 HP wet shot! (my Afterburner!!!)
- Bought extra Toggle switch for nitrus arming.

175 shot? Be lucky not to break something but you more than likely will, be a hell of a good time til you do but it's a ticking time bomb. And yeah, be prepared to get slammed to your seat, it's a lot of fun

Don't start with a 175 shot. Don't go over 125 without a built motor and upgraded fuel system. Start at 75 or 100. No its not like some magic button that makes the car lose control. You can feel the difference but its not that huge. The toughest part of the install is laying it out and figuring where you want everything.

great pics man. i was stationed in pensacola where the blue angels live and they practiced everyday in the off season. it was awesome.
but damn a 175 shot. you need to build up to it both from a driver standpoint and a mechanical standpoint.

Sweet. I'm really looking forward to it. I'll probably star with the 100 hp nozzle then move up.
So there seems to be an agreement that everyone thinks that 475 hp blows up engines?
The whipple supercharger gives same amount of HP on the same block, pistons, valves etc.
and that's always on. (it does use bigger injectors) Where the N2O will be used once a month at most.

+1 to the laying out process. mount your controller box first then make sure you have enough hose to mount the nozzle and all. make sure you dont drill a hole where the nozzle will run into the throttle body or something. i started off with 75 shot and quickly moved to 100. that is fine with stock plugs and fuel system but anything higher will require some upgrades.
