Angry Road Kill

A couple mornings ago I hit a coon going about 45mph.
It knocked about a 2" x 6" area of paint off the lower front bumper cover,
and split the paint in several directions.
I took it to the dealer and they sent me to get an estimate at a local body shop.
$700.00 !! at least Ford is paying for it.
Has anyone else had a problem with the paint on the bumper covers?

They said the release agent used to get the cover out of the mold
was not cleaned properly for the paint to stick.

Thats because he didnt tell Ford he hit something. They just thought the paint was coming off the bumper, and are going to fix it.
