Default stupid BMR a-arm brace!!!!!

This thing really makes changing your oil a pain in the ****! I couldn't get the dang drain plug all the way out, so I had to let the oil drain for a couple hours. I didn't want to remove the brace. Looks like I will have to in the future though. I'll just stick it in the press brake at work, it only needs a slight bend. Anyone else have this issue?! Here is a couple pictures when I installed it a while back. Maybe I put it on wrong!?

Why does it look bent? Or is that just the picture? I have one and although a tight fit, the plug comes out fine.

That bend is a BMR bend. Plug would probably come out easy if the bar was straight.

Could I have possibly put the brace on up side down?

Here's what the bar looks like off the car. /\

But this one doesn't have a bend in it. /\

I have the Bar on my 2007 Mustang. Yes the bar has a bend in it. and my only issue with changing oil is that I have to use a box wrench to take out the oil plug rather then a socket. My plug comes out just fine.

I dunno??? That part would make changing the oil a breeze but i would worry about it accidently opening at some point?
