I've been looking at several brands of 18's.. juggling the weight/price issue. I want something fairly lightweight but can be replaced inexpensively when they get curb rash (cause you're GOING to get curb rash undoubtedly).

The Shelby torq-thrust's come in a 10'' rear diameter and only weigh 25/26 lbs. which is fairly light for a 9/10'' wide rim. And they look great in anthracite with my alloy colored stang. Those will be my next wheels.

How much do the Konig's weigh? Those would look great too. Do they come in a 10'' wide rim?

I am not sure how much they weigh but I can find out later today. I have an extra wheel that was ate by a local curb courtesy of my wife, that I don't know what to do with. Also the 18s don't come in 10", but they do come in 9.5". If you go with the 20s they would come in 9" on the front and 10" on the back.

BTW I have the 18" x 9.5" all around with the +45 offset.

i've always been a fan of shelby's anth. torq thrusts (they come in black & chrome, too); i think you can get them in kind of a 'deep dish' look too

The 20x9 shelby razors (what I have) weigh 28 lbs each and you have the extra heft of the tires/diameter.

The 18x10 shelby torq-thrust are 26 lbs each and have the lesser heft of 18'' tires. I plan to shave about 5 lbs each wheel along with the better dynamics of 18'' wheels.

And the extra traction of 18x10 295/40 18's over 20x9 275/35's.
