SHR Louver Install....56K = DEATH

Stiff adhesive....
I think it is because your tube of adhesive was too old. My tube of adhesive from SHR was so stiff, it broke my caulk gun half way through the install of the 1st window. I was stuck. I had to let the stuff dry and then cut it off like the factory sealant.
My next tube of sealant from the auto parts store was WAY easier to put on. It flowed a lot more smoothly. It was also a 3M window sealant. Label was a different color, but it was 3M and said all the same stuff on the label.

Excellent choice with the SHR louvers and great writeup! Yea, the adhesive was a pain to squeeze out while making sure it went where you wanted it too. I also looped the wire around the top and bottom of the window from the outside to cut through the adhesive. It took me about 5 mins per side and removal of the interior is not necessary.
