I live in Texas, got my car in March. I've lived with no license plate on it until now. Not knowing the law in Arkansas, I decided to put the plate in the windshield (Pep Boy suction cups). I made a trip up there about a month ago and learned they only require 1. As the guy said earlier, Texas does require 2. I've gotten lucky and never been pulled over in my stang. However in the past my girlfriend and I got pulled over because she didn't have a plate on the front of her jeep. So don't think they won't pull you over at all, it will happen eventually. I keep my plate in my windshield, though it does kinda look tacky.

There is a special clip on plate holder for the gT500 front I believe. Do a google search.

I dont suggest putting it in your windshield cuz that would cause more attention to yourself!! I had mine on there and got pulled over for it and the cop told me to take it off of there cuz it could be a health hazard if i was to get into an accident it could come flying back injuring yourself or someone else!! After all that he said to keep it in my glove box because of the nevada state law that says if you dont have no where to put it dont put it up at all!! (since my bumper didnt have the holes drilled)
Dont put it if you dont want to just keep it in your glove box (thats where my front plate is).....

I'm in TX, haven't ran a front plate in almost 2 years. Gotten inspected twice without a front plate visible (not even on the dash) and passed with flying colors.

I live in Texas and have not ever had a plate on the front and I have never been stopped. I guess sometimes you just have to decide if it is important enough to pay for.

...Just the Man keepin' us down.
Like the police are gonna track a felon by a license plate. Yes - there will be a few that are caught-on-a-humble doing what they hadn't oughta - but not tracked.
It's all bull-oh-knee!
Pretty much "Locks are for honest people".
Don't put it in your windshield. It'll draw attention, plus it's easier to plead ignorance if it gets that far.
First hand experience. Thank God I wasn't driving and didn't laugh too loud until the cop left.
We all went home that night. It was also 1984.
Good luck.

Dont put a front plate on.
Get pulled over, have GF play stupid.
Then look into getting a front plate.
Until you actually get pulled over,
keep the playing stupid plan for when
its needed. How bout a pic of this
2008 Shelby Cobra or the VIN#
so we can see what you purchased.
