Default American Muscle Tunes?

Hi, I ordered a JLT and SCT SF3 from AM, and saw on their site they do free tunes if you buy the CAI & Tuner from them. Has anyone gotten their tune from them? I know Bren and a couple of others are always recommended when it comes to tunes, but (sorry I'm ignorant) what makes one company's tune better than another?

Thanks

Brenspeed and Bama provide 3 tunes with their combos but their tunes typically are more aggressive and will out-perform the AM tunes. Look at peoples sigs and you'll see who wrote their tunes.

I have seen quite a few S197 members with BAMA/Brenspeed tunes.

I would stick with the combo packages from companies such as Brenspeed. They really do a great job and like someone stated...include 3 tunes with the set-up. Tie that with great customer support and it's a win/win.

the difference is experience. not saying AM doesnt have it . but these guys at BAMA and BREN have been doing dyno tunes after dyno tunes for people and they have gotten very good at it. now they can just write a canned tune for people based on what they know. im sure theres a lot more to it but thats basically the difference
