Default XM Radio mount

Hi All,

I just installed my Pioneer Inno in my 2007 GT and want to know if anyone has done the same. Specifically, I am not very happy with the mounting location (on the left of the center console stack just in front of the emergency brake handle). I just used the bracket that comes with the unit and double sided tape.

Does anyone have any better ideas? Pics would be great...

Thanks in advance.

i have a Sirius radio set-up. I mounted mine on the passenger side as seen in the pics. The mounting screws and the wiring is hidden behind the right side panel

Thanks for the info. Did you use a special mounting bracket?

Great minds think alike, I have a Windveil Blue with a tan interior also.

Yes, I ordered it from Proclip. I have also been told that BestBuy sells them as well. It was $30

I don't love the look of mine, but I do like the viewing and convenience of use. My hand is usually resting on my shifter and i can just reach a finger over to push buttons.

I bought a VSM (vehicle specific mount) from Pro.Fit International. Works great, easy install but does vibrate a little at times. The mount is pretty long to get the radio away from the dash, which causes the vibration. It's not bad, just there. Website is http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/
