Default Anyone have this problem - door insert

I have a 2006 GT (bought new) with only 7K miles and recently noticed that the part of the driver door - (a vinyl section with little holes in the center of the door right over the handle you use to shut the door) seems to be coming unstuck in certain areas (I will post pictures when I can.) The one on the passenger side is still all firmly stuck on. This is not a section of the door that gets any "wear and tear".

I was just wondering if anyone has noticed this on their cars that have this section.

It is still under warranty until September but I am afraid to take it to the dealer to fix this as they would probably have to disassemble part of the door and would probably mess something else up...

Again - just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or knows how tough it would be to fix.

Thanks for any help/feedback or let me know if you need more details.

My seat was unstitching at the shoulder bolster at 100 miles. Took in for warranty and they had me bring the car back when the part was in. After being there for a day I get a call from them. I though car was ready and to go and pick it up. Nope, call was to inform me that I need to pick up the car because the wrong part was ordered, right part but in red. Now I have black interior, but the main thing is why did it take them to the end of the next day to call me to come get my car, and why wasnt the part verified before they dragged me in there. Sorry, just sparked an old memory, thats all

Thanks for the help - seems like no one has had the problem on the vinyl part of the inside door with the little holes? Just hate to bring it in and maybe have them mess something up because they probably will need to disassemble the door to some extent. Guess I have no choice...

Just wondering how common this particular problem was.

Regards

Default door piece

You need to post a pic. Your descripion sounds wrong. If it is the 3-4 inch rectangular piece behing the handle in the middle of the door, you need to glue some foam behind is so it has some pressure behind it. These seem to fit very loosely.
