It's been a long time since I had a car with white lettered tires. I thought they looked great on my 73 Mach 1 and 78 Firebird Formula. Narrow profile tires did seem to put white lettered tires out to pasture.

My favorite was the Dunlop GT Qualifier.

I agree they turned out awesome, however thats not my car. It is another member's ride I just saved the pics for referance on such occasions.

My dad has a white grease pencil at his shop. This weekend I might go down there and white out the letters on my tires just to see how it would look. I'll post pics. If I like em I'll definitely get him to buy that pen that makes em perma-white

I think that they would only look good if your going for that "Mach look", like the one drfister posted.....niiiice

But, I dunno, I could look good with other set-ups as well; just isn't for me.....(maybe its because I spent about two years at discount tire, wiping off that "blue film" they put over the white letters from the factory....uh, what a pain..lol)

Either way, hope it turns out great
